2 Lessons I have learnt from My Preserved Flower Business Project

The story of Sincerefloral.hk begins when Covid-19 has hit for more than a year, and the business is started by Chloe who is in her penultimate year of study in The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Preserved flower, also known as Everlasting flower 永生花 プリザーブドフラワー are 100% natural flowers. Through a series of processes ranging from dehydration, decolorization, coloring to retain flowers' natural softness, shape, and durability for 1-2 years more than fresh flowers.

Learning To Start from Zero

Turning ideas or thought, everything from your brain into tangible outcomes takes work and time. At first, they were messy, I felt like I was losing direction, and the next step was uncertain. That's absolutely normal because you are taking up challenges. Trust the Process. Think about the next step, put any possible ideas into practice as you have to explore different parts of the field. When you realize the decision you make is working and helpful, is where familiarity starts to develop.

Failure goes hand in hand with success

If I want to improve or outperform others, I realize that I shouldn't be afraid of failure or making any mistakes. Since the society taught us failure means disapproved or unacceptable, we fear of doing wrong no matter in work or personal life. The fear of failure is the major obstacle before reaching success. Every single try is a good try. Failure should not be discarded because it will lead me to success when all of the experience accumulates.
